Irwin Co. Library has 10-cent book sale
The Irwin County Library is having a Blowout Book Sale. The sale books are $0.10 each Library Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library has many gently used books looking for a new home.
ICHS ‘08 yearbooks have arrived, on sale now
Irwin County HIgh School 2008 yearbooks have arrived and may be picked up at ICHS from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A limited supply of extras is available for $40 each. For more information contact Wendy McFarland at 468-9421, ext. 2261, or

ICHS tutoring offered in three subjects
ICHS after-school tutoring for the High School Graduation Test is in progress for ICHS students. Math is offered on Monday and Tuesday, English is on Wednesday and Thursday and social studies are on Tuesday and Thursday. Tutoring begins immediately afer school. Graduation testing will be March 15-18. For more information call ICHS at 468-9421.
Library offers books by Jesse Paulk
The Irwin County LIbrary is offering several books about Irwin County genealogy by author Jesse Paulk. For each book sold, $15 will be donated to the library.
Pre-K registration today, Wed. March 10
Irwin Pre Kindergarten Registration for 2010-2011 is Wednesday, March 10, 8-5 at the Pre-K School. Children must be 4 years old before Sept. 1, 2010. Bring the child's birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residency (electric bill, housing lease), insurance card, Immunization Card #3231 and eye, ear and dental screening (can be performed at the Irwin County Health Department).
Irwin County Schools closed March 11-12
All Irwin County Schools will be closed for holidays Thurs. & Fri., March 11 & 12.
